About Proud Bookkeeping
Running a small business can be a bit of a juggling act of tasks and responsibilities that can sometimes feel overwhelming. We believe the secret to success is to focus on what you are good at and let others take care of the rest.
Proud Bookkeeping was formed in 2013 by Angela Proud to help small businesses in the creative-making sector. With over 15 years bookkeeping experience and over five years running a small business herself, she recognises and understands the issues her clients face.
Every business is unique so we treat all our clients as individuals, working with you to identify what systems will work best for you and your business and guide you through the process to keep things simple. Nobody can be good at everything and we understand that bookkeeping is not everyone’s cup of tea; so we provide flexible, virtual bookkeeping services across the UK, giving our clients peace of mind and the freedom to focus on their craft.
Because our specialism is sole traders and micro businesses in the creative industries, we are the bookkeeper of choice for Creatives!
About Angela….
Angela is a fully qualified and Certified Bookkeeper and holds a Practice Licence with The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. She is not, however, just all about numbers! A keen textile artist who loves creating art from fabric and thread, she is also married to a Portrait Artist. When she’s not getting creative she likes nothing more than sitting back and relaxing with a glass of red wine, quiz nights with friends and can often be found enjoying weekend breaks, exploring the landscapes of Britain with her husband.

We are proud to support Project Youth Cancer and we make a donation for every new client we work with
Who are Project Youth Cancer?
They are a charity who support young cancer patients physically, through targeted medical research which aims to improve treatments. This year they are refocussing on its second 'support' aim to concentrate on the mental wellbeing of cancer patients, which aims to support young cancer patients in body and mind.
